GERMAN STUFF HHHHHHHHAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HALLO, Tag, Guten Tag

I'm going to tell you about me learning about Deutsch which is the language German people speak. We learn Deutsch through watching a video that contains people speaking Deutsch.

What are some things I have learned

There are lots of different things I have learned like positive words, negative words, greetings, farewells, days of the week, titles, countries, how to say 'the' to different genders, what is your name and numbers.

Will I continue German in Collage

I probably won't learn German in collage because I want to learn Spanish because that is the second most spoken language in the world.

How will learning Deutsch be useful in my life

It could be useful if the soccer world cup is held in Germany and I go there.

That's all I got for now seeeya!!!!!!!

EPIC values!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELLO
It is week eight and I'm going to tell you about our EPIC values. EPIC stands for Empathy, Perseverance, Integrity and Creativity.

I think Empathy is the easiest because you have to understand someone instead of trying to get through something thats hard, think of some thing new and cool or being completely honest a lot of the time. The most challenging school value for me I think is perseverance because most of the time it is difficult to get through something that is hard. The value I showed this week was perseverance. I showed perseverance by helping carry Haveesha to the first aid room when he hurt his leg and couldn't walk.

Thats all I got for now bye!!!!

HELLO
It Is week seven and I'm going to talk about a book I have read recently and have enjoyed. The name of the book is Artemis Fowl and the book was written by Eoin Colfer.

Plot
The plot is about a twelve year old boy called Artemis Fowl that is extremely smart and has lost his father and lots of their money. Then he discovers that there are magical creatures like fairies and goblins and then tries to steal all their gold. But the magical creatures are far more advanced than he thought.

Major Characters

Artemis Fowl II
Artemis Fowl II is the son of a irish crime lord called Artemis Fowl who was kidnapped by the Russian mafia. After a year of not being found he is thought to be dead, and because of that they lose lots of their money. Artemis is pale from being inside for so long and not seeing lots of sunlight, he has black hair and blue eyes.

Butler
Butler is the loyal  manservant of Artemis fowl II and his bodyguard. Butler is also the third most skilled martial artist in the world (the first is a monk on a pacific island, and the second is his uncle who used to be the butler of  Artemis fowl I.

Holly Short
Holly is a elf. She is the only female captain of the LEPrecon, recon division of the LEP. LEP stands for Lower Elements Police. Holly is only three feet tall.

Foaly
Foaly is a centaur computer genius. He works for LEP and is in charge of stopping humans discovering the fairy civilisation. He  designs most of the weaponry and gadgets that LEP uses. His sarcasm often annoys the LEP officers, but he mostly enjoys annoying his bad tempered commander Julius Root.

Julius Root
Root is the commander of the reconnaissance part of LEP, and because of that he has to track anyone who leaves the fairy colonisation so they don't make contact with any humans.

Interesting quote from book
(Said by Artemis Fowl II) "Trust me. I'm a genius."   :)

What I liked about it
I liked the book because I think it had a good story line, it had magical creatures and it was funny. Those are some of the things I like of a book.

Who would I recommend this book to
I would recommend this book to someone who likes books with magical creatures because there are a lot of those in this book.

That's all I got for now bye.

Hello
It is week six and I'm going to talk about what I have learned about the Galapagos Islands. I have already been to some of the islands but I still learned quite a bit.

Image result for marine iguanaI have learned that the remains of the old islands are still under the sea, and that the islands are so heavy they are sinking into the sea. I have learned that the thing making these islands is a volcanic hotspot underneath where the islands are. I also found out that the volcanic hotspot is making even more islands but they are being made extremely slowly. Another thing I learned was that there are still more animals to be discovered. I have also found out a lot about some of the animals and how they have adapted to the Galapagos Islands. My favourite animal is probably the marine iguana because it can do some pretty cool things. Maybe something related to this topic that I would like to learn about would probably be how animals adapted in Antarctica. For next terms social studies topic I would probably like to learn about horrible histories, maybe just maybe.

That's all I got for now bye.     ;)

HELLO ALL
It is week five and one of the tasks given to us is to reflect on our roles and responsibilities. My role is being the enviro leader for our class.

How have I helped other students through this role

The only way I have helped other students with this role was by emptying the compost bin, which by the way is not a pretty sight :(  .

What have I enjoyed about it

The thing is we haven't done anything for the past term. We haven't even had a meeting until yesterday. So there is nothing for me to enjoy.

What have I learnt

I have learnt that we will be going to visit a place where they dump trash and bury it underground. And we are going to get rid of all the rubbish bins in the school. I'm pretty sure that last one is right, maybe? And we will have a blog so we don't need to waste lunch time in enviro meetings. :)  :)  :)

What have I found challenging

Taking the compost bin down without throwing up. BBBLLLAAAHHHH. Otherwise nothing else is challenging.

Do I have suggestions for changes that can be made for the role

DO I!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully we can find a way of someone or something else emptying the compost instead of the enviro leaders.

Well thats all I have for now. PEACE!!!!!!!!!

HELLO ALL
It's me, DJ blogger, and I have another post.
Yesterday, a person called Vane came to our class. He was a guy
who worked with the ASB get wise program. He was there to tell us some ways to earn money at our age, save money, and what stuff about jobs.

I found the lesson kind-of worth while, I knew some of the things he was talking about like what interest is, and some ways to earn money at our age. Some of the key points from his little "talk", were how to get money at our age. Some of the ways to get money were by making things and selling them, buying things and making them look cool, or having a garage sale. Another key point was interest. Interest is the amount of money you get from the bank by putting money in the bank. The more money you put in the bank, the more they give you. The last one I'm going to tell you all about was CAT goal. A CAT goal is a way of seeing how long it will take to get something using money. CAT stands for Clear, Action and Time.  My cat goal is to get a PS4, computer, and maybe just maybe another dog. Sadly that will take me a long time if I get paid $20 a week, which I don't  :(  .  My financial goal is to get about $7,500 before I am twenty-one because that is when you are supposed to move out of your parents house, so I will have to start working pretty hard. I think I manage my money pretty well. I don't spend my money that much at all, I have a bank account so I get interest. So I think I am managing it really well. To improve my money management in the future I will probably avoid owing money to the bank by not using a credit card unless I have to, and I will put more money in the bank.

Thats all I got for know, see you all later byeeeeeeee.

HELLO ALL.
It's me, DJ blogger, and I have another post for you (as usual). This post is about the mission fair (not very usual).
The thing  we were doing for the  Fair was a cricket arena where you play all these different types of cricket related things like, getting the amazing batsmen out or throwing balls at the wickets.
Things that went well
The things that went well were that we got about $40-$50 in total. We (the people in my group who were my friends Haveesha, James and Lawrence) think that we earned that amount because, we saw one of the teachers took four $5 notes, one $10 note and all the $1 and $2 coins, and there were a few $1 and $2 coins. And after that we earned some more money, so I think we earned about $40-$50 dollars.

Things we would do differently
The things we would do differently would be that we should have made a time limit for how long you could have a break, because Lawrence had a really long break and we couldn't find him for a long time.

That's all I got for now, seeya all later, byeeeeeeeeeeeee.
